[General Description]
It should be noted that before using a double sleeve joint, ensure that there is no dust or other foreign substances inside the joint to avoid leakage. In addition, for pipe connections with an outer diameter greater than 28mm or 1 inch, it may be necessary to use a pre assembler to ensure proper fit and sealing.
Double ferrule joint is a small diameter pipeline connector that combines sealing and safety. An excellent double ferrule joint can withstand pressure up to pipe burst without leakage, and can be used in vacuum and high-pressure liquid systems. It can work at low temperatures to ensure sealing, and can provide long-lasting sealing at the highest rated temperature of the pipe. It can be repeatedly disassembled and sealed, and is widely used in industries such as instruments, petrochemicals, power, and gas.
First installation:
Insert the pipe into the joint, ensuring that the end of the pipe reaches the bottom of the joint, and gently tighten the clamp nut by hand.
Use a marking tool to make a mark at the 6 o'clock position of the clamp nut.
Use a fixed wrench to secure the connector body, then rotate the clamp nut approximately 1 and 1/4 turns. During this process, the markings should be kept aligned to ensure that the nut rotates correctly to the required torque.
When the nut rotates to the 9 o'clock position, it encounters significant resistance and can stop rotating.
Repeated installation:
If reinstallation is required, the old clamp nut should be removed first.
Insert the pre installed sleeve into the connector body until the sleeve is in place.
Hold a fixed wrench and turn the clamp nut back to its original position before disassembly.
Continue to tighten the nut until a significant resistance is felt.
